Bill and I went hiking yesterday at the Joseph D. Grant County Park up in Mount Hamilton. This park offers the best views of Silicon Valley, bar none. You could see all the way from South San Jose to the Dumbarton Bridge. We could also see the Lick Observatory at the very top of the mountain, above the snow line. (Yes, there was snow up in the mountains!) By the end of the hike the soles of my feet were screaming bloody murder, while Bill still had enough energy to have a bounce in his step. I bet he's on speed. LOL.
