Spring has sprung

It's another incredibly beautiful day here in San Jose. It's half past two in the afternoon. The sun is shining brightly, there are white clouds in the sky, a gentle wind is blowing, and it's a cool 65 degrees (18 Celsius) outside.

One of the best things about spring and summer is that everything is in bloom. There are flowers everywhere, and with flowers come the hummingbirds!

Photo courtesy of Bill. This was taken at his old deck.

I just put up a hummingbird feeder out on my pint-sized deck. Hopefully this will attract as many of the awesome little creatures as Bill's did in his old apartment. When I lived in Japantown I didn't see a single bird come to my feeder. Maybe this time it will be different.

The feeder is right outside my window, and I can see it from my computer desk if I lean back in my chair.

Ah, the outdoors. Ain't it grand? :)
