- Green Truck Cellars pinot noir 2002: nice balance, fruity but not too much, kinda reminds me of Domaine Drouhin pinot noir but a little bit more alcohol-y.
- Claus zweigelt 2003: this (typically Austrian) varietal is almost never found in Bay Area wineries. This one's under $20 and is available at Vintage Wine Merchants in Santana Row.
- McHenry Vineyard Santa Cruz pinot noir 2002: the one we discovered during Pinot Paradise recently. Very drinkable, with food or without.
